Synopsis

March 3, 1860, outside Sakuradamon, Edo... 17 Mito Roshi, including retainers of the Satsuma clan, assassinated Dairo Ii Naosuke. No one would have thought that this assassination would later become the beginning of a tragedy for the Aizu clan... - Inoue Okazumi (age 60), a samurai of the Aizu domain with 700 koku of land. Although he was unemployed, he taught his children the Analects of Confucius and the history of Aizu, and his personality was admired by everyone from executives to farmers.
