Synopsis

While out begging at the tender age of ten, Momo was snatched by child traffickers and hidden away on a storage vessel. But luckily, he met up with Qiao Boqi, who had arrived to apprehend those traffickers; the two bonding instantly. Qiao Boqi then brought Momo back to his private residence and bestowed the young one with the new name "Qiao Ying (影: Shadow)". Thus, Momo—as Qiao Ying—began his new life as Qiao Boqi's adopted younger brother. But sometime later, Qiao Ying will become dragged into a spiraling struggle with the Prince of Yan...
