Synopsis

A veranda where unrelated people gather; the unchanging everyday life of a middle-aged man and a boy. Nangumi Shuichi, a 41 years old japanese-style painter living in the house left by his late grandmother. He wakes up in the morning, drinks coffee, smokes a cigarette on the veranda, and then paints. This mundane routine is Nangumi's unremarkable everyday life. On a day that should have been like any other, an unfamiliar boy wanders in, and...?
