Synopsis

One day, Madoka, a pediatrician working at a private hospital inherited from her family, learns on the news that a newborn baby was dumped in her neighborhood, where the mother buried her newborn baby. On the TV screen, she sees the suspect, an expressionless, exhausted-looking woman - it is Nozomi, a friend whom Madoka was close to when she was a child. She remembers running around the park, eating watermelon in the summer, drawing pictures of pretty girls, and promising to live with her in Tokyo. Madoka revives memories of two people who once spent happy days together, but who eventually gradually crossed paths and went their separate ways.
