Synopsis

One day, 40-year-old Akane, now married and the mother of a daughter, learns that Imai, a teacher at the cram school class she attended in junior high school, has become a sculptor. The "portrait of a girl" that he had exhibited looked a lot like her former best friend, Murasaki. When she faces the 14-year-old Murasaki again, her "work of art," her memories of 26 years ago come back to her. "A photo I had sealed away, a crime I had committed." Back then, Murasaki was in love with her teacher. She was supposed to be in love with him. The three of them are now unraveling the past, and their destinies begin to move.
