Synopsis

The 17th Emperor, a woman, owes her throne to the Duke of Roark, who aided her ascent over her brothers. Though publicly revered, she harbors a secret liaison with the duke, her devoted supporter. Behind closed doors, she surrenders to him, shedding her regal facade. One fateful night, he breaches protocol, entering her chamber unbidden.
