Synopsis

(from ebookjapan): Kappa, which appear in Japan's oldest history book, Nihon Shoki (The Chronicles of Japan) , and are depicted by leading ukiyoe artists such as Hokusai, have left legends all over Japan. The kappa appeared to a young man who was at a loss deep in the mountains when his battery ran out on the way to Kamikochi. The young man is taken to the world of kappa. However, he finds himself in a world where kappa and otters are engaged in a battle... This collection contains two manga adaptations of Ryunosuke Akutagawa's masterpieces "Kappa" and "In a Grove".
