Synopsis

"People say it's like being forced to leave the city, but even in the places you fall, you can find happiness," says Tsumugi (22 years old/temporary worker). She's currently sharing an apartment with a friend. She's shy and easily influenced. People say she's kind, but her indecisive nature, which prevents her from speaking her mind clearly, has caused her to lose both her friends and her job... "I hate myself," she thinks, lost on her way in life, when she boards a swaying train and arrives at—Hogami Station. In the countryside, where there's nothing but rice fields and the night sky, a young man named Seita reaches out to Tsumugi, who is at a loss, and she also has a gentle encounter with his grandmother, Suzu. This encounter marks the beginning of Tsumugi's life in the town of Hogami, where she lets herself be carried away by the slow pace of time.
