Synopsis

My beloved mom was an AI. Reiwa 8 (2026) - Shizuku, a high school girl. A Gen Z girl who excels at both her studies and part-time job. On the first day of her fun summer vacation, filled with plans with friends, her father's death forces her to confront a hypothesis: "My mom might be an AI." When the certainty of the person who raised her, entrusted her to her, and stayed by her side is questioned, will she lose her sense of self? In the disconnected Reiwa era, this story asks: What is a mother? What is a daughter? And what is family? This is no longer about the future. This is a mother-daughter story unfolding in the present.
